Proposal Executive

Position : Proposal ExecutiveResponsibilities:
* To prepare Tenders in accordance with Business Management System.
* To assist in pursuit of future business.
* To organize work load of allocated tender team within budgets on case by case basis.
* To prepare accurate and economic costing and assessment of risk, including competition/ market trends.
* To participate in the negotiation of terms and conditions of tenders with Customers and Suppliers to achieve the best commercial position with minimum exposure to risk.
* To assist in the improvement of the working practices of the Under Water Services Business Unit.
* To receive functional guidance and direction and advice from the Senior Operations Manager.
* To work closely with and Cost Control and Cost Accounting to determine rates and standards for various operations.
* To maintain the Tender Data Base.
* To communicate effectively internally with management finance operations, safety and externally with Clients and Suppliers.
* Position of proposals estimator is predominantly office-based, but definitely not a nine to five job, because of the need to meet demanding deadlines.

Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management or equivalent.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in a similar capacity in the offshore oil and gas industry.

* Must be hard working, self starter and problem solver.
* Strong attention to detail and an interest in preventing errors.
